Visiting Fellowships

The Manchester International Law Centre (MILC) welcomes visiting academics and doctoral researchers.

Visitors are an important part of our community, contributing to the Centre’s intellectual life and enriching its research environment.

Fellowships usually last between eight weeks and one year. During their stay, visitors pursue their own research in an inclusive and stimulating setting, with opportunities to exchange ideas with colleagues based at the Centre and the University of Manchester. Visitors are encouraged to present work in progress and take part in the Centre’s seminars and other activities. They also benefit from the wider programme of events organised by the Law Department and the School of Social Sciences.

Applications should be sent to milc@manchester.ac.uk, and include a short research agenda together with a curriculum vitae of no more than two pages. If the proposed research aligns with MILC’s areas of expertise, further guidance will be provided.
